Etching and aquatint
Spring 2015
I took on this project mainly for the fun of combining as many etching processes as I could into a print. Using plates cut into the shapes of the tangram, I used hard and soft ground line, soft ground texture, aquatint, and spit bite, as well as surface rolling the plates after wiping them, then arranged the plates into recognizable images for printing.
